 Welcome to THE
Tyler Rotary Club! We have the honor of being the first Rotary Club in Tyler,
founded May 1st, 1920. We are one of three Rotary Clubs in Tyler. We are
a dedicated group of business professionals who truly believe in our Rotary motto, Service
Above Self. Our membership consists of entreprenuers, civic leaders, financial,
retail, and medical professionals.
The Tyler Rotary Club is dedicated to making a better community for all of us. Our
annual fundraiser, which is now in its 6th year, is a Chili Cook-Off and it is now an
officially sanctioned CASI event. This event raises funds through sponsorships,
ticket purchases and donations to support our wide variety of projects. Some of our
recent recipients are The St. Louis School, Texas Missions of Mercy, Therapet, ARC of
Tyler, Salvation Army, the Red Cross and others throughout Smith County. We also
contribute to international projects such as Tejas Missions.
We also focus on our local schools by honoring the outstanding students during the year in
addition to honoring an outstanding non-Rotarian citizen. It gives us great pleasure
to encourage their spirit and honor the achievements.
Our weekly meetings and fellowship are highlighted with a wide variety of
programs that bring knowledge, history and fun to your day.
