Henry BellWelcome to the Rotary Club of Tyler.

The Rotary Club of Tyler was chartered on May 1, 1920 and has a long and rich history.

Leaders and community builders of East Texas have been members and officers of the Rotary Club of Tyler for more than 90 years.

It is my privilege to serve as the Club’s first 3rd generation President. My grandfather was President in 1935-36 and my father in 1969-1970. My family has a tradition of giving back to a community in time, talents and resources 150% more than we take from it to help build for the next generation. The Tyler Rotary Club is all about giving back to the local community and beyond, by being connected with over 1 million Rotarians worldwide.

The Tyler Rotary Club (a.k.a. as the Downtown Rotary Club) has just completed our first year at a new location, Hollytree Country Club, which has been a great venue to hold our weekly meetings. Located in one of Tyler’s most prestigious neighborhoods and retail centers, Thursdays at noon at Hollytree has become an exciting gathering of some of East Texas’ top business, civic and professional leaders. Membership is on the rise and soon will be over the 100 mark, so we welcome any interested individuals to learn more about our club.

The club offers an opportunity to serve our community while networking and building friendships with persons who desire to operate their business affairs on the highest plane of ethics and integrity. We offer leadership, fellowship and service opportunities to all who would join us with this year’s Rotary International motto: "Reach Within to Embrace Humanity"

Rotarians are adults of good character and good business or professional reputation, who hold or have held an executive position with discretionary authority in any worthy and recognized business or profession. We invite you to join us on Thursday at noon at Hollytree Country Club for a great lunch, informative program and important networking.

"Service Above Self"

The Rotary Club of Tyler,

Henry Bell
